Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Just in case you’re still looking for gifts, here are a few charming books we think are great for the occasion!
Our 5 top Valentine books:
- In My Heart: A Book of Feelings by Jo Witek, illustrated by Christine Roussey
This imaginative book walks you through one little girl’s feelings in a way that every child can understand. The illustrations are adorable, and the cut out detailing makes it fun to flip the giant pages. Read more about why we love this book here. - 123, You Love Me by Jill Howarth
We’re big fans of counting books in this house, and this one is simply lovely. It counts all the way up to 12, which we also have found special for most counting books. Walk through a day with the sweet snuggly bear, and help him enjoy sharing love with his friends and family. - Mirabels Missing Valentines by Janet Lawler, illustrated by Olivia Chin Mueller
I can’t even start with this book, it’s so adorable. Mirabel prepares valentines for her friends only to lose them all over town. Not only is this story sweet and accompanied by fantastic illustrations, but it opens your eyes to the significance of random acts of kindness or displays of affection to the unexpected. Reading this book inspired us to think outside of the box this year, and we hope it inspires you too! - Bunny Roo, I Love You by Melissa Marr, illustrated by Teagan White
We love, love, love this book! It’s a simple story that we’ve read since our girl was born, and the illustrations are unbelievably cute. You can read more about why we love it here! - I’ll Love You Till the Cows Come Home by Kathryn Cristaldi, illustrated by Kristyna Litten
This book is an absolute blast. Each stanza rhymes wonderfully, it reads like a song. I hope that we find ourselves using phrases like these as our littles grow up.
We hope you enjoy these as much as we do, and have a happy Valentine’s Day celebrating with the ones you love!
